I think that paul doesnt really know what he's on about here. Sure he obviously knows whats right and wrong, but there are a lot of shit tabs that i would delete if i was managing the sfk tabs, as for the alternative tunings thats rubbish. For the something in return tab ben did, it was tuned up half a step cos thats what the bootleg reproduced, but the actual version isnt. I think paul tunes a little higher when he plays live.
Anyway good idea for this tab discussion thing katy, good thinking!
Oh and i tried your whatever you want tab katy, wtf! i tried it and i think maybe you got a little confused when wrote it out relative to the capo. I dont know maybe i cant follow it but could you check it and tell us if that is actually the way you play it?

eeeeek! thanks for letting me know! ;D dont know what i was drinking when i wrote that... yeah i wrote half of it relative to the capo and the other half not! oh well, ive fixed it now. hope it sounds better now cheers kt |

Wow, a lot of tabbing attempts. And few successes. Two attempts at Truely, both a bit sus. One tries to say that Paul doesn't use a capo for it! I'd like to see that.
Ok, admittedly, I can't tab for shit either. But is it possible to avoid all the chords being tabbed as power chords? This is in a few of the tabbings.
Anyway, good to see a site with tabs on it, and good to see this discussion board. Pity the guys don't help us all out and put some tabs up themselves but hey, their choice I guess. Foo Fighters have all their songs' tabs on their website, it's fantastic. But most bands don't. Be nice to get more doing it... Been trying for yonks to figure out some Millencolin stuff, but very tiring work.
These tabbings are good even just for somewhere to start so you can work the chords into sounding like the ones drifting off the strings of Paul Dempsey's guitar.

Just to clear up about the truly tab,
Paul does not play truly with a capo, it is imposible to play the last two chords of the chorus properly with a capo
I would bet my life that the tab i have written is 100% accurate (not blowing my own trumpet, i know it is)
To further prove my point please get a copy or view a copy of the big screen television video where it is clearly visible that a capo is not used for the song
