Well, I've only been playing 7 months so my ability to work out songs atm is very limited (specially sfk songs, hot dang!), but progressing. I'm not much of a tabber, but I can offer you the intro chords, and maybe some incentive to those decent tabbers that contribute here Intro/Verse + Pre Chorus: e||--x---x---|--x-- B||--1---3---|--2-- G||--0---3---|--2-- D||--2---3---|--2-- A||--3---1---|--0-- E||----------|----- I'm pretty sure its almost 100% correct, (maybe not, I'm only learning ) C and Bb (in that order) is all i have atm. Sounds correct though - unless Paul plays it in a different position. Trying to work it out from the acoustic version performed on JJJ. More to come as I struggle to work it out! Update:Well, figured out the intro/verse/pre chorus chords (added the A, at least i think thats all there are, its just some fancy strumming that makes it sound like another chord is used)

hrmm there is a change there i reckon boogs, after the second chord, i think in this strum pattern there is three chords and i think this is how it goes e||--x---x---x--- B||--1---3---3--- G||--0---3---3--- D||--2---3---3--- A||--3---2---1--- E||-------------- cant tab out that damn solo though

I think you're just hearing the slight strum between chord changes, or the intial strum but not all the way (I do that a lot EHHE).

yeah im positive the intro is based on a C-Bb progression but i reckon that ill have to wait to see it live to be able to tab it. sounds relitivley easy compared to other songs but he probably uses some weird 5 or 6 fret stretch chords that people with short fingers like myself cant play with out dislocating our fingers or developing some kind weird finger spasms. Cant wait for the gigs!

I've been playing for a few weeks with the C - G minor progression in the verse. I tried the B flat and it sounded alright. I'm not sure. Someone try the G minor instead of B flat and let me know if I'm wrong.
So far I've played:
Verse: C Gm C Gm, etc... C A
Chorus: Gm F C Gm F C Gm F C...... and then I get lost with the "one of us makes the other one...." part. I'm trying some things iwth D minors and stuff like that but I can't get it right.

Hey guys, I think i goes something like this
intro verse: e--3--3-------- b--3--3--------- g--0--0---------repeat however many times d--2--0--------- a--3--1--------- e-----------------
"and the world just happens" and chorus e--0--:------1--0-- b--2--:--3--1--1-- g--0--:--3--2--0-- d--2--:--0--3--2-- a--0--:--x--3--3-- e------:--3--1----
"until one of us makes the other one......" e------3--1--0-- b--3--3--1--1-- g--2--0--3--0-- d--0--0--3--2-- a--x--2--1--0-- e--2--3---------
cant remember how the last bit goes, will tab it tonight
good luck!!

just noticed that some are a bit out of line. The low e string has shifted slightly to the right.

I tried the B flat and it sounded alright. I'm not sure. Bb (the note) is part of the Gm triad, which is why, i think, the chord Bb sorta sounds right, but sorta doesn't. yeah the "one of us" bit is hard to figure, the chords seem to be implied rather than played. anyway it's a great song ;D, i love it, it's interesting to see how others interpret it, FWIW ive been playing it: intro & verse X 3 5 5 3 X X 5 5 3 3 X and the world.. 5 7 7 6 5 5 cos baby can't see X 5 5 3 3 X thru-u-u X 8 10 10 8 X -u 8 10 10 9 8 8 one of us makes the other one come true X 5 7 7 X X 8 8 7 X X X X 7 X X X X 0 7 7 X X X (or maybe 0 7 7 6 X X) (still not happy with the one of us bit ) haven't figured out the bridges yet either.

Hey guys... i have figured out most of the violin part if anyone wants it...i just cant be stuffed writing it out now.... The piece is in the relative minor of fmajor=dminor. the chords are hard to get cause they are variations of open chords mainly. Your right the intro does sound like C-Bb beacause Bb the note is part of the Gminor triad- but i too am pretty sure its a C-(a variation of)Gmin. Ill just have to wait to see it done on rove on tuesday so i can tape it and figure out what hes playing. Im also workin on the start of the acoustic version of You only hide...getting there...so ill have that soon. By the way has anyone noticed it sounds alot like the start of Benighted by Opeth?..same sought of time and same key- Gmaj. Have fun!
