Hey I think there was a tab for this on the sfkforthenovice site... and I've been through this forum a few times and couldn't find anything completed so I was wondering if anyone could help me out with a full tab. I really really wanna learn how to play this as it's probably my fave song from sfk.. Thanks

you need a capo on the 4th fret for this (the notes are relative to the capo).
also i think paul plays the chords varying lots of fingers and picking...
ive tried to include this but you should just improvise.

eeek. that's my tab... it's pretty old now and needed some corrections. I remember I wrote some of the chords upside down :/ so if any are really out of place then try them up the other way

this is an old thread, but i've got a video of Paul playing most of Whatever You Want on acoustic. my sister filmed it at the instore they did at JB HiFi this year.

you can see the fretboard pretty well for most of it, and i reckon if you tried hard you could figure out most of the chords he's playing. you can usually figure out what the fret's are, and he can only be playing up to 6 notes at once so you've got a chance i think! haha.

anyway, if anyone wants to have a look at the video just ask me. it's still a really big file size, but i'm sure there's a way i could compress it or something.

(as usual, Paul improvises plenty of times during the song, so he's not playing it exactly like on the album or anything.)

Oh of course! Damn, I should've remembered about that.

I'll get some kind of FTP program soon and try to upload it. I also need to sort of flip it and make it brighter, which I can do. I think.

OMG I can't tell you how great that would be!! That's so funny you got that video 'cause I've been trying to work it out from the one version of Whatever you want on the DVD and it's near impossible!

If for some reason you can't get it onto FTP I'd even be willing to send you some cash to send it on a CD by mail lol

Hope you can get it on the FTP tho!
