I might actually watch the arias this year...

Interesting about the producer nomination after a lot of disliking from some of the forum members... I never really noticed anything bad about it myself but maybe that's because i'm totally naive to production quality and the fact that i spend most of my time listening to music through tinny headphones.

so i looked it up and it is for everything is true...looking at the other nominees for the other categories...it doesn't look good (little birdy, bob evans, josh pyke)

i wasn't that sure about the production to start with either but the more i listen the more i like it. it's a very different production ethos to slicked stuff recorded with $10,000 mics and preamps in a studio but i think it's deliberately different to the sfk production - otherwise it'd sound more like sfk-lite. i really like it now, the vocals are so present... the only thing that really annoys me is the mastering team cut off the last chord from 'man of the moment' before it finished ringing out. grrr!!!

can't wait til he gets up and accepts the awards for all three categories. if bob evans or josh pyke win over paul i'll cry.
