Here we are, LYSTS pre-order: Special edition 2CD -> Signed 2CD, Campus bag, lyric notebook -> 50 AUD Vinyl special edition -> Signed Vinyl, Campus bag, lyric notebook, mp3 download -> 60 AUD Signed 2CD -> 24.99 AUD Standard CD -> 19.99 UAD Vinyl -> 37.99 AUD iTunes LP -> mp3 download of 2CD version, special artwork and lyrics iTunes -> mp3 download -> mp3 download of single CD version
I opt for vinyl special edition + cd special edition ... I found the regular vinyl edition quite expensive as it seems that it is only a single vinyl and not a gatefold ...
I am happy with the fact that you could get signed copies (as it was the case for desert light, live@the corner, murmur years and everything is true) Is it something usual for Australian artists?
(for international fans, freight cost is crazy if you buy special editions. I assume it's an express delivery method. For vinyl special edition, freight fees are 30 AUD and for Vinyl special edition + CD special edition, freight cost is 38.75 AUD. if you want only a non signed vinyl and a 2CD signed edition, freight cost is 13.85 AUD on JBHifiOnline with regular international delivery method)

Anyone know what the postage to rural Victoria will be for the Special Edition 2CD?

I've just ordered the signed 2CD from JB HiFi, was worried it'd cost me a fortune to ship to the UK but it seems to have worked out quite reasonably.

In case anyone was wondering, shipping to Camperdown (Victoria) for the Signed 2CD+Bag+Book was only $6.05, which I thought was pretty good.

If I was an Aussie resident then I might possibly 'justify' the vinyl Sp Edition but with postage to the UK, that's a total of 90 AUD - simply outrageous! So in order to get the extra disc in decent sound quality (not iTunes), I'm having to go for the (inferior sound of the) Sp Ed CD version, which from JB HiFi is still costing me 33.44 AUD total (but that's the price of following a band that are barely known here in Europe).
The difference of 56.56 AUD for vinyl, a posh lyric booklet and a shoulder bag isn't my idea of good value. It's only supposed to be about the music really!
