Sorry if it's been done, no time for searching. Sorry *bows head*
Anyway, learnt this by ear today.
A / A (With third finger up in the D position [you know, the d note that sticks out])
D with hand mutes
A, D, A, D rpt.
F#m (kickass chord)
E
D
rpt. (that's the chorus [love how this song slides around])
I haven't worked out the bridge can anyone help me? I know the solo... 2nd string, 2-3-5-3-2 (fret), 4-5-7-5-4, the next one is either 5 or 6 I don't have the song with me right now to tell you which, and continue you should have got the pattern by now. EDIT: It's 6, 7, 9.
And then A, D, A, D, etc. softly
Then a massive hand mute, into the chorus again (love that F#m).
Oh! And there's a tricky little thing after the first chorus, I play it as this:
1st String: 0-2-0-2-0-2 (if you haven't worked this out yet, I'm numbering the frets in order of when you play them. Normal tabs take too much bloody time), then 2nd string 2, 3rd string 2, 2nd string open, 1st string open, 3rd string 2.
It's kinda tricky and I need more practice at it. The rest of the song is easy.
Keep your rythym right, it's a very slidey song, hit that F#m like you mean it and if you pull off the massive hand mute (or the bloody tricky thing) pat yourself on the back.
Seasick, Signing out.

Lyrics stolen from the DL Lyrics thread (thanks reeyano, bloody great job on that!) to make things easier for you.

5. A Fool's History Part 1

Everything's understood, nothing more to know.
You sleep by the river and walk yourself home.
You're picked up by the breeze and put back on your feet.
It shows you the way back to,
Triggers, and loopholes in the back of your mind.
Barefoot, and walking on, it's still morning light.
Got one last chance to make it all alright.
So come and sit next to me, and I'll tell you everything,
another fool's history.
Innocent bystanders captured in the frame,
with unfinished business that don't show on your face.
Standing in the doorway between decisions unmade.
But you'll never know, you'll never know..
So come on now, and leave all your sirens and cry.
And you and me, we could stay quiet one time.
We'll throw open the windows and we'll turn out the lights.
And we'll lay in here listening, and not telling everything.
Some other fool's history.
So come on now,
come on now.
So come on now,
come on now.
To triggers, and loopholes in the back of your mind.
You're barefoot, and walking home, it's still morning light.
I got one last match to set it all alight.
Well it's not what it seems to be,
and nobody's listening to another fool's history,
who's blindfolded memory will just deny everything.
If the cause of your mysery, is never deciphering,
your heart's lonely whispering, to think you've seen everything.
You think you've seen everything, you think you've seen everything.
