"and it's never gonna be the way that it was before".........
that being the start of a chorus of a mid 90's song by an Australian rock band that sounds like You Am I - can someone tell me WHO THE FUCK IT IS?

there needs to be a website which has a database of lyrics which you input quotes into and it brings up possible results. otherwise, you need to try it in google or yahoo.

yeah. you should build that website. its not like it would be easy to get lyrics. you need copyrights and things like that

The song itself? I can imagine it'd be pretty tought to find, seeing as it never had huge amounts of airplay. mIRC perhaps?

I found this on google:
David Cruttenden lyrics - It'll Never Be The Way It Was Before
but i knocked some words of the front of your lyrics. so it's probably not right.
I woke up today and said "so did that cyclone come over the coast?" and mum said "i dunno" it's just all rainy outside. and a little bit windy. I'm in Mackay, the part that was meant to get 100km/hr winds last night or something.

they didnt get blown away, they just got cooked. poor souls. the cyclone just decided to head straight north and die out back to a low. pfft! 100km winds - that's nothing. Sit out winds of 300km/hr and discover the true meaning of the words 'awe' and 'scary'...
