If you haven't already noticed, the forum was closed for 2 days whilst it was upgraded to PBV4! There are heaps of great features ... unfortunately some of the other codes I added on before no longer work, but will be updated so they work on this version shortly ... and there are many cool additions to make up for it anyway.  |

it's great. heaps of cool things in my profile i can add in. im still looking around though but love the changes so far!

Is there a list of features anywhere? I'd like to try everything out and keep overlooking little things I didn't notice.

So when you want to share photos or other files you can simply add them to your message, you don't need hosting! There isn't much space given to the board however as its a free service (and I don't plan to pay for more space  ). If you ever need to host anything larger I can host it on sfkforthenovice.com for you - simply email > somethingforkaty@hotmail.com Karma - Doesn't really have a point, but you can either give someone good karma for doing something nice (exalt) or smite them if you so feel the need (smite). The number is displayed on your posts and in your profile Invisible - You can select to be invisible in your profile. Only admins will be able to see you online the forum, although the forum will show the number of invisible users online to everyone. PMs - There are now lots of cool options in there. You can back up your PMs, select not to receive any from certain users, ask to be notified by email or a pop up when you receive a PM Cool stuff I can do: This doesn't affect users but I have cool new features I thought I'd mention anyway because I'm excited about them. Guests now show up as a link, where I can click and see each guests IP address (so much for privacy!), there is a security log which logs all security related events, the username and what has been deleted etc, I can make mulitple forum skins - meaning users can choose one of multiple colour schemes to view the forum in ... There are a LOT more and many secret features which we are supposed to find, and some I have forgotten to list which I have found. Many boards are yet to get the upgrade, so after everyone has it more people will post about the secret features. Feel free to post any features I've missed as you find them ... |
