can anyone tell me how fat the zoo is from the cbd in brissy (or if it actually is in the cbd)?

im not sure how fat the zoo is, but i may know how far it is ;D it's near the CBD, but being in the valley, it isnt too hard to find. um....i cant remember the url, but i think www.brispop.com or www.ourbrisbane.com might have some info. |

Just take a train to brunswick st station and from memory it is on ann st, but just follow the path of drunk and drugged up backpackers and uni students and ask for directions.

Actually the Zoo is one of my fave venues in QLD. Its very laid back and they put on the best bands, its also a place that pretty much only caters for live music and as such they know how to treat people and aren't trying to rip people off like every other nightclub out there. Supposed to be good to go on a saturday arvo with some cool dj's and free pool tables.

Can't remember, i'm not a huge powderfinger fan. But it is where Dempsey played last year, and Idlewild will be there in a few weeks.
