and a note to moderators...i think someone else suggested this somewhere - can we add a topic to the forums for "other bands"??

I think the hottest 100 is losing its prestige.......internet voting and the ability to vote for multiple songs has ruined it........the winner will be a song that appeals to everyone but is no ones favorite song

This year there didn't seem to be any crappy novelty songs like Pretty Fly For A White Guy or that Wheatus song. Hopefully this year's 100 will have some quality bands like Wilco, Gomez, Doves, QOTSA, Augie March, Audioslave and plenty more.
