This thread is in memory for all those who lost their lives in Bali...
Lights in the sky on a wet season day.
Cumulous builds and humidity rises, Lightening streaks across the sky. Appropriate that the sky too should mourn on such a day.
But soon the storms blow through and calm returns. Leaving the night as clear as a crystal. Aura Australis curtains across the southern sky. Silently. A kaleidoscope of souls sent from Kuta and beyond, Are miracles of the sacredness of life.
Hatred took you there, away from us. But your starlight gives us understanding. Strength. To fight the good fight. Hand in hand, we collectively stand, Nationhood embraced. Moving ever forward to making sense, Of that innate madness of man. Never Fearing.
For all though we will struggle on without you, Everyday a challenge, We trust that justice and equilibrium will come. Because tonight we look to the milky way, And remember. Peace and love.

di, did you know someone who was in the blast? sorry, just wondering. 2 of my friends were up the back of the nightclub, and escaped with some bleeding and bruises. the worst thing is they helped carry out the injured and dead. i don't know where to begin, what to say.

yeah, luckily it was their last night there and they had to leave early, so out of the 6 or so that were there, only 2 went.
the thing is, they were standing up to leave as it happened. what would've happened if it went off just a minute later? it's too scary to comprehend. :/
but thanks for the well wishes.
