sadly not a something for kate nomination in the lot of them despite the fact three dimensions qualified for "best group" "best video" and "single of the year" categories..

the only reason i'll be watching is to see how hammered The Vines leadsinger gets..if they even decide to turn up... I know I wouldn't bother - I might have to sit next to Alex Lloyd or, even worse *gulp* Richard Wilkins.

believe me, you do not want to find out..

i think they've done all right with the nominations.. i mean i dont like kyles or kasey's music all that much, but it is popular and i'd say they deserve their nominations. I'm a bit iffy on Chemical Heart getting nominated for single of the year, i suppose it doesn't really matter anyway cause it's not as if it's going to win.

I don't have a problem with George being called "pop" though. Like I've said before, it's largely semantics and "pop" doesn't necessarily equal "bad music".

Haa ha ha so true. I'm wondering what she has left to sell cd's with now cause she has already taken it all off for her first single. And with the Aria's, that's assuming that everyone who is nominated was chosen fairly and not decided by certain individuals using the awards to sell more CD's.

I remember selling a lot of Nikki Webster and 12th Man CDs so yep I can believe it. In the first case it was usually mothers buying it for their prepubescent daughters because "OMG, Nikki Webster is SO kewl!!!!" and in the second case it was usually middle-aged men with a beer belly buying it because "yeah, cricket's top shit".

Actually some of those middle-aged men might have been buying the Nikki Webster CD too, but I'm not going to think too hard about that one.
