Yeah, their earlier stuff is out of print.
I have everything but their first album and it's two singles, but i have that album burnt.
So if anyone desires something, let me know.
My fave is Size Of The Ocean, which will always have a very special place in my heart. Their Trouble & Desire EP also rocks my socks off quite a bit.

Only just noticed this thread. Dammit! Another great band bites the dust. I know they probably got tired of flogging a dead horse, but I really wish they didn't break up and kept at it.

Yeah, a bloody farewell tour would be nice...
Good to see Greg's still out and about playing a little!
Hope he plays a bit more though, only seen him advertised to play twice... And they could atleast tell us when he's playing on their site, or at the very least the yahoo message board thingo...
But while BHS are no more, Todd Sparrow are coming out with a new album! Hurrah! Should be bloody fantastic.

Ummm, one that i saw was almost a year ago, and i think the other was for him to play at some thingy at the Uni of Western Sydney? Maybe? I don't think that one's gone yet, but I can't be arsed to go... bad fan?
Next year eh? I guess I can wait that long... hope to see them again some time, need to get my arse into gear.
Going to see Darren Hanlon whenever he's playing at the Metro, ah how I love him so.
And yes, i think it's fine to burn some of BHS's stuff : )

What's Todd Sparrow like? I saw Darren Hanlon recentlyish supporting Youth Group in Perth. He was good. It was pretty cool after recognizing that he was the guy who did "Punk's Not Dead". Turns out I like a bunch of his other stuff aswell. Good Times. Need more BHS. I wish this stuff was a bit easier to get hold of, legally or otherwise. Haven't had any luck with Pollyanna either. That's what living on the west coast is like

Cool, though they may have been recently adverised shows. Todd Sparrow are playing on the 9th on November but not sure where. I am sure the details will be posted soon. Equal, they are a great band for sure. I guess you could call it edgy pop rock but more on the indie side.....for comparisons it has elements of early SFK and I hear a definate BHS influence (probably moreso due to the fact that is the same rythm section). But essentially it is dirty pop rock, alternate guitars with a pumping rhythm section with some more delicate stuff thrown in for good measure. The best bet would be to head the their myspace page and have a listen to the tracks there www.myspace.com/toddsparrowYou can still get BHS stuff from their webiste but if you are having trouble let me know.

Yeah you can get the Trouble And Desire EP still, which would be a good buy from the site before they're gone.
As for Pollyanna, I don't have a heap of their stuff. Junior EP, Long Player, Hello Halo, and Delta City Skies (which is crap in my opinion). But Hello Halo is especially good i think.
I went to the Glebe Records Fair on the weekend. Ah, what a wonderful place : ) If only i had more cash! Amongst other things, I got Purplene's last album for $4, so I'm looking forward to listening to that.
