Hey peoples
What kinda music are you all into? Me? I'm into just about anything. My fav bands include:
Orgy, Deadsy, SFK, Shihad (pacifier), Radiohead, Metallica, Korn, David Bowie, NIN, Alanis Morresette, System of a Down, Oasis, Hootie and the Blowfish, ELO, Supertramp, Queen....the list goes on.
So if you are one of those people out there with different tastes in music, post a msg and lets get some discussion going. ;D

I'm currently finding Jill Scott and Alicia Keys good medicine for my broken heart. Other than that been listening to heaps of Tool (oh my god - laterlus; though by does maynard sing with his back to the audience? Is it shear pretention?), perfect circle, NIN (the fragile), patti smith's new one " Land" , Lamb etc... etc... ;D

charlatans - wondeland low and dirty three - fishtank sessions paul kelly and gerry hale - silent partner soundtrack and the occasional diana ah naid and big heavy stuff...
tool - maynard singing with his back to the audience- prentention? no, stage fright....hes a fragile person who likes to shun the public eye, hes been thrust into the spotlight against his will....though he shies aways from the glare, this only makes his fans pry deeper....
or he could just be after the publicity....or maybe hes got a crush on the drummer....
how about bands that have a drummer playing at the front of the stage? the lucksmiths do it, but the drummer also sings and he plays standing up, so, hes pretty weird all round.
sticky tape is always good for a broken heart. unless the broken heart isn't a plastic toy, and is instead a symbol of loss of a affection from another. In those cases, sticky tape is pretty usless.
what, no ones listed the mighty LASH girls yet?
(spongeboy waits for the rumble of disapproval...)

no unfortunately gaffa tape won't fix this one...i need something more flexible... is it love spongey that blinds you to your unbridled passion for blonde bass players who like a good beating? is that why you are alone on this one? (lol) as for maynard...I'll go the drummer theory myself! hmmm good to see Mr kelly is still lurking about!

I'm pretty eclectic.
My recent high-rotation bands have been: Incubus 28 days Jebediah
On my list of CDs to buy ASAP: Tool Lateralus Alicia Keys - Songs in A Minor Foo Fighters Colour and Shape
15 of the best... not including SFK and in no particular order: Jebediah Foo Fighters Britney Spears Robbie Williams You Am I Motor Ace Powderfinger Nirvana Pearl Jam Chemical Brothers Destiny's Child 2pac Millencolin Will Smith The Doors
I will give a prize to someone who can find a link between each artist and the one directly below. For the person that can do it with all fourteen... I don't know, suggestions?
I'll give you the first one. to link Jebediah and the Foo Fighters, they both played the same BDO (2000?).
If you were reaching, you could say that (you don't use this one because they aren't in sequence) Jebediah and Nirvana, you could use Dave Grohl as a member of Nirvana and Foo Fighters, who both played the aforementioned BDO.

I'll have a crack
Jebediah played BDO 2001 with... (starter one) Foo Fighters lead singer David Grohl has a goatee beard just like... Britney Spears lost her virginity to the music of... (you'll have to believe ME on this one) Robbie Williams did a version of "Berlin Chair", as originally done by... You Am I's song damage was played once on Secret Life of Us, though not as much as any song by... Motor Ace lost a battle of the bands once to... Powderfinger is a Neil Young song once covered by... Nirvana's Kurt Cobain once had fishing contest with Eddie Vedder of.... Pearl Jam's song I Got Shit was remixxed by... Chemical Brothers laughed continuously for 5 days when they first heard the self titled album by... Destiny's Child are crap just like... 2pac was born in Sweden, home of... Millencolin called their pet dog... Will Smith played Jim Morrison in a made for television mini-series on the... The Doors
Was i close?

hey eddie, who won the contest?
the myth is that you pulled in 10 pound snapper, only to be beaten when kurt reeled in a massive 45 pound groper called 'Measly Meg'.
