you're only going to have to put up with it for a little while longer.

I think I've used up my quote at 25. Fortunately I've stockpiled enough weaponary through my continual reading of "Solider of Fortune" to ward off any late night visits from the reaper. The motto of the story, is "don't f*ck with me".

You think getting stuff to Darwin is bad....try living in Perth. You don't get anything over hear - CDs, records, BANDS!!!! They go to every other state and leave us out ....that's just rude! ...I know, i know it costs a lot of money to come out here to the 'boondox' but honestly, it just sucks when all your fav bands pass you by cause the "population doesn't justify enough profit". Thats one of the up sides from liking Aussie bands....they don't leave us out!

i know how you feel fish slapper.... no, wait i dont, i live in melbourne ;D perth does have heaps of ace bands though - jebs, john butler trio, eskimo joe..ausse bands rule! [cue theme music] now it's time to play what's edved listening to at the momenttoday's answer: alphabetchadupa by betchadupa. Only my second play through, but overall i'd say not too bad. Finn seems to have inherited song writing talents from his father Neil, a nice mix of melodic rockers with a few accoustic moments to boot. Caught somewhere between Pacifier and Eskimo Joe, Betchadupa seems to have an impressive future!

I can do with the similarity to Shihad (sorry, I can't get my head around calling them anything but that). I'm not to sure about any musical similarity to Eskimo Joe, who really should've released an EP rather than album with 4-5 good songs + filler.

Thats one of the up sides from liking Aussie bands....they don't leave us out! woahhhh, slow down there! jebus cripes! we get ABSOLUTELY NOBODY. nothing. nada. zip. tasmania gets more than us, for gods sake. prime example - paul on singularity tour went to perth and that other place over there (mental block, forgive me) and did we get him? noooo. even though it was a "national" tour. sorry, i just want to rip your throat at right now, because you get a lot more than us. hell, the last band i saw up here were killing heidi. point taken? and to add insult to injury, we aren't getting *any* groups performing in the entire territory until august. yeah, nothing until then. and at least you guys are a state.

I just remembered a very funny alternative lyric to "weir", but apparantly I'm not allowed to say it.

Haven't we already had the big whinge about life above the 26th parallel? I agree with fish-slapper, Perth is only marginally better off than Darwin (it's interesting to note, however that things may be worse in SA, but who would know given nobody has outed themselves ). Why have you deferred the big move to Dec sparky?

noo, fishy boy said it was worse in perth. read it properly, dear di. and what the yack are you talking about? you got dempsey, twice, and you got tool, and everyone bloody else. did i mention killing heidi were here when i was in year 11, and i've now completed school? lack of a place to live, yo. that's it. if someone had somewhere for me to live, i'd be gone tomorrow.
