Well I think I can safely make this fairly exciting annoucement:
My future brother-in-law and current housemate has just joined a new band with ex-Mavis's Nick and Becky. He's stoked. It's pretty sweet cos the members of the band are all quite cool and good fun to hang around. They've even given me a nickname... um, DiCaprio... maybe I shouldn't have mentioned that.
Anyway not really sure too much info on CDs and gigs but I'll let you know. Support the family!

are the mavis's dead? i think i may have heard about that a while ago...but weren't they touring not long ago on the back of increased public awareness due to a car advertisment?
on another note, the drummer who is currently touring with the awesome Pollyanna is joining the Living End...and it could be the end for pollyanna as we know them...rayke is preggers, and partly living in the USA, drummers keep dissappearing, and the last album, though brilliant (produced by brian paulson, elsewhere, bsharks) wasn't taken to...
notice how i've managed to go completely of topic. Its an aquired skill.

Its an aquired skill. Closer to the topic than anyone else got... I'm pretty sure the Mavis's broke up a while ago. Otherwise this thing wouldn't be happening because they originally had the Mavis's bass player but he left Junkatique which is why they needed one.
