Don't know if this makes him a hero or a bastard, but The Strokes' singer Julian Casablancas punched out a record company guy according to the UK's New Music Express. He then cancelled a TV appearance. Apparently they were being pressured into doing another show without their management's approval. Bandmates say it was out of character for the singer.

i dont know.  Is this It  is one damn catchy album.   I know they aren't as good as the hype makes them out to be, and sure the music they make's already been done before, but  I know I've played that album to death in 2001.
