Hi you crazy kids you. I'm actually stranded in Dubbo for the week (work) but have dragged along my antiquated PC to the motel they've set me up at, and would love to see as many of you potential drug addicts tonight as possible. I'll be on mIRC (Undernet) and also MSN Messenger (ambient_trash@hotmail.com)
I am incredibly bored, and the mini bar tab is getting very expensive....

*logs onto IRC...* Hmm, nope. I don't see any FatherSharks on there. Only Boogs is there. Actually what's happened to IRC? Did everyone from here go out and get a real life overnight?  Everytime I log on there these days there's only a couple of people there idling. I remember the days when we used to have a lot of people in there with big conversations happening, and not just the board high posting regulars either but also people like Sar, the American SFK fan (sorry, forgotten your name, Jen, Jez?), the Russian SFK fan, and others. I remember when Life and Su would even log on. Oh well.  |

it took me 3 days to figure out how to download mirc, and install it and get into the right room, etc the first time round... then suddenly it wouldn't let me connect anymore, and people started talking about servers and rooms and channels and all kinds of things and it confused me greatly and i got kinda scared. i would love to overcome my lack of tech-knowledge and be able to sign in regularly again, but i will need instructions [and i mean from downloading the mirc program again to what thingo to connect to, etc... absolutely everything, i'm clueless] as to how to get my arse back in there. who wants to help? |

Well, Angel's on in a sec so I'll just point you for now to the thread Katy made before: sfkforthenovice.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=trading&action=display&n=1&thread=1036849652The only real difference is, that when the popup box for the server comes up, don't select the first default choice on the list (dalnet) instead scroll down and pick the "undernet" server. Apart from that, it's pretty much the same.  |

I hung around for a little bit on mirc and MSN - Lou popped in for a bit, and there were the usual smutty issues to talk about with kim-b (does the b stand for bi-sexual?) and boogs. Amy was also there for a time, and I somehow managed not to mortally offend her, While this was going on, I was also chatting to Hawaiian Robot (steph) on MSN Messenger, who is currently dealing with the guilt of dropping a Feminem fan on his arse.
But stay tuned - I'm in the motel all week, so should be on-line a lot more than usual.

haha, everytime someone trys to write a word with- 'm e m b e r' in it, it turns into 'something for kater' and if you write 'm e m b e r s' it turns into 'something for katers.' ;D Me thinks this needs fixing. |
