was anyone here lucky enough to catch either of the jack johnson/ben harper shows in melb this weekend?
i saw the sat nite show and it was the most emotionally charged performance that i have ever seen. some people have said that there wasnt much intimacy in a wide venue, but i felt like ben was singing to me all nite!
the highlight for me was ben getting emotional and choking up at the end of another lonely day. His voice cracked and he put his head on his chest and appeared to soak in the moment whilst he composed himself. it drew a tear to my eye.
anyone have any other thoughts on the show, or ben and jack?
