Soundtracks can be a really good way of getting into music that you otherwise wouldn't be exposed to. I was just listening to JJJ and they played a great song called Mad World frome the Donnie Darko motion picture soundtrack. I will definately be buying it. But it got me to wondering what everyones favourite movie soundtracks are.
Here are three of my faves:

all pretty good movies as well except the crow pt2 was a little lacking

the Romeo and Juliet Soundtrack [it's worth it just for the Radiohead song, 'Talk Show Host']

Top 3
-Good Will Hunting is excellent mainly due to Elliott Smith.
-Reservoir Dogs is a classic.
-Amelie, i don't have this one yet but i loved everything about this film so i have to include it.

I've got hardly any soundtracks. My favourite would definately be Buffy the Vampire Slayer: 'The Album', it's very nice!

is that the one where the characters are singing?? aparantly the donnie one is really good, all done by the one person  my most favourite soundtracks i never listen to and were only faves when i was younger so i have a reason for having them: varsity blues and scream2  o x-files was cool too |

I only so few, but the ones I own are tops. Romeo & Juliet, and Batman Forever for The Beginning is the End is the Beginning and vice verse. Woo. And others, um, Lara Croft is okay actually. The first half I think, anyway.

American Beauty is a good one.
I also think Donnie Darko would be good to get but I was disappointed to see it didn't have Love Will Tear Us Apart on it.
And agreed about The End is the Beginning... ... and Talk Show Host.
edit: I forgot Dancer in the Dark, which is a really great soundtrack.

Batman Forever for The Beginning is the End is the Beginning and vice verse. Woo. .....you can watch the world devour in it's pain.... mmm nice, i haven't got the soundtrack but i have the pumpkins remix single. |
