Jeff Buckley's covers of many songs are always beautiful. His cover/parody of Led Zep's Kashmir is one of the funniest things ever. The Tea Party covering Buckley's Last Goodbye was pretty amazing, perhaps cos its the closest I'll ever come to the real thing. Rufus Wainwright does a very pretty version of Across the Universe (Beatles). Yes.

nirvana-baba o reilly, made that much better by kurt cobains comment each time he finished playing the song. "hope i die before i turn into pete townshend"- a parody of the line in my generation "hope i die before i get old" lots of people didnt get the joke though
