Do you guys remember 'Gaia' from Captain Planet? She was the lady in the long purple dress, she gaves the kiddies the ring things. She was spoken by Whoopi Goldberg.

I know...so did I! ;D It was a pretty good idea too, a cartoon that was entertaining and taught the kiddies to look after the environment. See, young children today need that kind of thing, not junk like Pokemon and Feral TV.

Captain Planet Schaptain Schplanet. I'll be the voice of dissent here. It's just a politically correct ultra left wing hippy show. Now Transformers, there was a show! Or Thundercats!
Ahh, memories.

Sorry, there's no comparison.

Transformers: The Movie had Casey Kasem (Shaggy on Scooby-Doo), Judd Nelson (mentioned in Kevin Smith films), Leonard Nimoy (Spock), and Orson Welles.

See, young children today need that kind of thing, not junk like Pokemon and Feral TV. i thought it was ok when it was just the ferals. but then they went all budget and cut the show down to 5 minutes and it suddenly sucked. what about monkey magic? i know it's not a cartoon, but all the special effects were there. i think there must have ben repeats of it running in the early 90's, 'cos i used to tape it. watching it now, i have no idea if i even understood what the hell they were saying. yeah, captain planet was cool. i liked the "earth" dude, whatever his name was. the "fire" one was a bit of a punk.
