This is how I voted (in case you're interested):
Tea Party - Interzone Mantras Silverchair - Diorama The (International) Noise Conspiracy - A New Morning, Changing Weather Tori Amos - Scarlet's Walk Tigers - Christmas Album
silverchair got #1. i was quite happy. i can't believe they got twice as many votes as the vines (at #2).

It's interesting. I must be quite conservative with my music purchases compared to some of you people. I bought a total of 8 music CDs this year. They were:
Tori Amos: Little Earthquakes. Tori Amos: Under the Pink. Tori Amos: Boys for Peal. Blueline Medic: A Working Title in Greeen. Blueline Medic: The Apology Wars. Beth Gibbons & Rustin Man: Out of Season. Alanis Morissette: Under Rug Swept. Something For Kate: Say Something (single)
Beth Gibbons, Alanis, and SFK I bought on the strength of their previous albums that I have, Tori I bought because I heard about 5 mp3s of her songs which I liked, and finally Blueline Medic I bought because I saw them play live and also heard them on the radio and liked what I heard.
If I had regular money again then I probably would have bought more CDs, but I'd still find it hard spending $30 on something I knew little to nothing about. Does anyone here just buy an album you know nothing about and hope that you'll like it?
