Who bought tix on Monday? I was lucky and had a choice of standing or seats, i heard a fair few ppl missed out on floor tix. Just wondering what everyone bought so i can figure out how much were sold. All i could get was section 8 for standing. did they sell anything from the very front or is that getting left until Friday?

yeah, I think it was all all over. But there are going to be plenty left. It's just a matter of getting them before they sell out... which will be fast!  I have a friend of a friend who works at ticketek so my PJ tix are in his hands... i'll let you know how I go. If you end up in the last row, maybe don't get them and hope for another show. They should have more, shouldn't they? |

katy,
did the venue tell you they were standing tickets?
pearl jam released a statement when they announced the tour, that all shows in australia would be seating only. they actually haven't performed a show with GA since the roskilde incident.

I actually bought seats, but i was after standing in the front section. Well, that would explain why the floor was divided in this really strange way. Sheesh. I understand why they would do that though.
The website didn't make it clear at all. It didn't have standing or seating, it just had everything divided into sections with letters and numbers allocated ot them.

everyone on the pearl jam site was having a good old whinge apparently ticketek just took random seats and made them available for presale, as opposed to "better" ones... but i hope you got ones you're happy with, and good luck to anyone who'll be lining up on friday. |

Yeah well for me it was them or nothing cause i can't camp out so there would be no point buying on Fri cause you would either miss out or get really bad tix. I got tix to the left of the stage in the 4th row. They seem pretty good but we'll see  So it is confirmed info that all the tix are seated? Man..... imagine getting a seat at the very front of the stage where the moss pit is supposed to be! |

fourth row is great - i mean, considering how massive the venue is, fourth row is pretty much top notch. congrats yeah it's confirmed about the seating... guys in particular are starting up with the "WHAT? no mosh pit?" cry already, lol. |
