What the fuck? Who would ever want to imortalise a feral animal on hunk of pseudo gold? thank god it doesn't seem official.... what next? the australian silver tape worm coin? a medallion of earwig? though earwigs are kinda pretty cool..... did you know that they have hatch doors on their backs, and they have to fold and unfold their wings with their tail-pinchers?

speaking of weird shit to do with Australian society - did you know we are the only nation in the world that eats it's National symbols - ie, the Kangaroo. When you think about it, that is pretty backward. It is not as if the national symbol is a f*cking pork chop.

Does anyone else think it's a little convieniant the the government decides to initiate a program to help the problem of 'vermon' [sp] kangaroos who just happen to be exportable for a nice profit?

Has anyone been out in the bush and seen for themselves the destruction caused by ferals and wild populations which are out of control and not in equilibrium? Culling is sometimes a necessary evil... ...Besides kangaroo tail stew cooked the 'tradional' way is yummy...

They have every right to hop where they f*cking like........

Hahahaha...you all fell for it hook line and sinker! What a great fishing trip! (lol). ;D I just wanted to stir up a bit of controversy...it was getting quiet! Still I do stand by my point about feral animals, the destruction they cause the environment including native fauna and flora is terrible and heartbreaking to watch. And as for native animal populations which occassionally do go out of equilibirum with the environment, there is nothing worse than seeing starving, dying animals which are just suffering... And don't knock bush tucker until you've tried it! Most of it does taste terrible but ocasionally some of it is actually quite nice! ;D BTW what's this 'thing' between Father and Katy? ooh la la...
