I visited Alice in October last year, and was given some Bush Tobacco by one of the local Aboriginal tour groups. I've never been so smashed in my life. I look forward to my next trip.

I've been to Sydeny a few times but i'm afraid i was born and raised in Perth, and havn't been anywhere else. Can't say grubs turn my taste buds on...all i can think of is that scene from The Lion King and Pumba and Timoin are showing Simba how to eat bugs. Yuk......no hakuna matata from me.....

Do you tend to dine-in or take away with those? And do you get a discount for pick-up?

My senile grandmother actually told me that joke. She laughed her head off on the telling while she slushed around in her own urine....

to backtrack a little bit...
i think we don't eat enough kangaroo.
a) its healthier, leaner in fat.
b) easier on the environment - soft feet mean less errosion. and more efficient - ie less grain/grass for more meat.
c) its tasty
and its not like they're endangered or anything...

Did anyone notice how this topic started as an attack on 'feral' kangaroos yet everyone didn't seem to pick up on it and instead became about saving kangaroos. Oh, and now it's turned back.
I wouldn't mind trying it, but i would have no idea where to purchase it from. Know anywhere in Sydney anyone?
