maybe you should visit the NT. it's everywhere - so is emu, camel and crocodile, and the list goes on. okay not everywhere, but if you want it, you'll find it. especially at places like woolworths. woah. and they have a thing with kangaroo tails up here, (god knows why) and kangaroo mince, and yeah, you get the point. it appears, at least up north, if you can run it over, you can eat it. roadkill anyone?

I'm a firm believer in the concept of a Food Chain. I also think that we aren't necessarily the head of the chain, which is why it shits me that Gun Nazi's go vengeance driven shark hunting immediately after any attack on a human - it isn't right or wrong that a shark instinctively acts in this way.
I apologise if that didn't make any sense - I'm wired at the moment.

I think that if some fat lady wants to eat a steak, she should go out and hunt it and have it's blood on her hands, instead of going to the supermarket. If that was the way of things i think there would be a lot more vegetarians At least the animal has a chance to fight back or something, rather than waiting in line in captivity to go on someone's plate.

i tried some native sandlewood nuts this week on an archaeological survey that I was on - not bad, a bit like macadamias! bush tucker to the veges out there.... bush tomatos are nice too... Apparently makes great hair dye as well! As for game in supermarkets...it's hard enough in perth to get free range chooks let alone real game like decent cuts of roo, or venison or kid...

the large size is probably from all the antibiotics and hormones that they stuff the chickens with...

No, they are actually bigger because they are also free range chickens
