Just keep him in line Melly> I must say though, despite the fact people can treat others horribly at certain points of their lives, I do believe in the concept of personal growth and change. oh, can do. ahh, coming from the master himself. just joking. ;D i do too jussy. let's just hope he doesn't prove me wrong.

i think i'm going to cry. i need my captain car. :/
applied for many jobs in my 2 full days here so far. my best hope so far is one at a tattslotto outlet. interesting..
the weather is lovely. about 20*C (what was with the 40+ on tuesday?!).
the flight(s!) were long (darwin to adelaide to sydney - on an international flight - customs was lovely, as was duty free, but an hour in lines and a bus to get to the domestic terminal in sydney - boo! then onto melbourne. finally.) at least i got 3 meals i guess. 12+ hours later, i finally got "home".
*deep breath* liking it so far, yet just killing for a job. gah.

Speaking of looking for work that's exactly what I'm doing at the moment. Prospects are looking good I have a job interview at KFC tomorrow. Hey tell you what if I get the job I'll do a bit of snooping around and find out the Colonel's secret recipe for his chicken then I'll open up my own fast food chicken outlet and become rich and all us SFK fans can live off the profit...how does that sound

La Trobe is my old alma matter!! (unbelievable!). What are you studing? My sister Jenny is part of the biotech department at La Trobe. Also say hi and lend support to the poor embattled Geology Department at La Trobe. The bastards of the uni board have very short sightedly chopped the department where I was first raised as a baby geo! Anybody wanting to do either geology/mining studies or environmental sciences and comes from the South Eastern portion of this wide brown land should be protesting long and loud as closure of this department is cutting out YOUR educational opportunities (and the prospect of making big $ in the well endowed mining world when you graduate - as it is there are presently more jobs than geos out there at the moment, which translates to big $ etc etc)...

just science until i figure out what i really, really want to do. hope that doesn't take too long to figure out.
as it turns out, the la trobe offer was just an early round offer. (received thursday - date on the letter said 28/11. hmm.)'chances are, i'm hoping, i'll still get to chose out of la trobe and melbourne. la trobe will be a helluva lot closer, but melbourne is meant to be better. no idea. guess i'll find out.
