I was actually unemployed (for the most part) for about 2 years. It's not an empowering sort of life decision. And it was a decision - I was happy sitting on my arse.

I'm currently enjoying self imposed unemployment. Everybody should drop out for a little while. Gunna check out margaret river next week... melb 'round april and see where the crusin' keeps going....

Remember Di, no period of unemployment is complete without a spell of drug abuse and self loathing. I was getting plenty of that whilst I was in the throws of employment.  In fact that is precisely the reason why I've decided to drop out for six months...I need an alternative! |

speaking of employment, my employer (Suncorp) has ungratiously placed me in a non-smoking room for the duration of this week in, erm, Dubbo.
Situation: I've had a few beers and I feel like a smoke.
Fuck Them?

Actually Mark, my fawning yet rapid gigapet, I only smoke cigarettes when I drink - a nasty hangover from actually smoking on a relatively full-time basis until late last year.
Thank you for your concern about my health. I'm moved to the point of exhaustion.
