okay, who's seen finding nemo?? hehehe i was crying with laughter at one bit..hehehehe, was fun (and shush i'm cool ) YES! Dory is the best!!!!! -You speak Whale? I hated it but I think I just have a thing against fish, and americans bastardising other cultures. I think they adequately depicted the seagulls though. Rats with wings that's what they are.

Seagulls are exceedingly stupid creatures.....Oh man they are dumb....can't wait for those summer afternoons at Manly eating chips with seagulls hovering over bushes looking for food *sighs*

I Love LOVE LOVE Before Sunrise. Its just so simple and beauitful. I also want to see Tape. Let me know if you have seen it as I haven't had a chance as yet. If you like dialogue movies, try to see "12 Angry Men" - its just fantastic. I just saw Tape! It's really good. I won't tell you much about it because it'll ruin it. It's really good. My video store had it on DVD and Video. They're all good performances. It's weird, i just saw Ethan Hawke, and Robert Sean Leonard in Dead Poets Society just a few weeks ago and in Tape they talk about their high school times 10 years ago.

I agree Terry. All the different styles of the 9 short films on it are really interesting to see. They're all talking about the same concept but from different perspectives. I like the subtext in them, such as in the story where the girl's cat goes missing. It could be talking about a glitch in the Matrix, or it could be a metaphor for growing up and the loss of innocence. I like that duality.

i saw matchstick men a couple of weeks ago...i kinda doubted nick cage's acting a while ago (because i'd seen him in mainly action movies like faceoff/conair) but he's doing some really good movies.
the animatrix is pretty cool. i think the detective story was my favourite. the other ones i liked were the first one....or the one mark talks about with the girl and the cat. can't remember the names.
kill bill looks great. i love martial arts movies. and adding quentin in. woo. it's good to know that he loves those kind of chinese movies too, and Uma's wearing Bruce Lee's Game of Death tracksuit!!!!!!!!

I went with a girl I'm interested in and saw Kill Bill tonight.
Oh maaannnnn!
Not a good film selection. I liked the film myself and its stylistic direction, but erm, I should have picked a clichéd American romantic comedy instead I think, heh.

- Adaptation - A Beautiful Mind - Being John Malkovich - Bowling For Columbine - KILL BILL (atm this is my fave!) - Reservoir Dogs - Memento - Dancer in the dark (haunting) - Mulholland Drive - Requiem for a Dream - Drunken Master II That's all i can think of right now! Nemo was cute! The unexpected bit in Amelie (i won't give it away if you haven't seen it) still scares me and i watched it over a year ago! And i loved Chocolat but found it terribly difficult to refrain from eating chocoalte after watching it I was a bit disappointed with Matchstick Men i must say.....good but not brilliant. Oh and my fave tv show is 6 Feet Under - it just gets better and better each week!

I must agree, after the really good conceptions used in the first matrix, they seemed to deflate for the second and third really. The ending of revolutions kind of left me thinking - "thats not very original....in fact, thats very cliched!"

I just watched The Secretary with Maggie Gyllenhaal and James Spader. Was an interesting film but wierd to say the least. Still not totally sure what to make of this, has anyone else seen it?
