yeh, my mum took me to see it (lol)...
probably not the best mother/daughter film considering it is about the shattering of a mother/daughter relationsihp due to promiscuity, drugs and other shit.
it was really confronting, well produced, but im not entirely sure what the message of the film was, other than.. 'don't be bad, love your family'. but that's just me being dumb

I thought the Butterfly Effect was a brilliant movie, disturbing in some parts, but brilliant nevertheless.

Just for those who saw Kill Bill Vol. 1, Kill Bill 2 is great. I preferred number 2 over 1, maybe because it's more of a movie. I couldn't really imagine it in one part now that i've seen it in two.

yeah, i want to see spotless and kbv2 i saw tait toi (sp? marky help my out here mr french speaking man) with my folks (teehee) the other day tis a french flim (w/ subtitles) with gerald (he lost a lot of weight..) in it. It moves quickly (in a good way) and is funny funny gerald plays this guy who's really dumb/stupid who goes to prison, and meets a killer in there. They escape together, and gerald thinks that this dude is his best friend (the killer finds gerald reaally annoying). so it's about them getting away from the cops etc. go watch. now.

I really like Jean Reno (the killer) so I might see it! Brisbane has some pretty good cinemas in the suburbs, i've noticed. I always hear you guys complaining about having to go into the city to see particular movies, we have a couple of cinemas who play them right near me.

I WANT TO SEE ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND and i also finally saw Donnie Darko, damn good! I've watched it 3 times now, and everytime i work up another new little theory of why things happened as they did... love a movie that makes you think It's now on the top 5! Amelie Donnie Darko Chocolat American Beauty Dead Poets Society on a side note, i've also noticed that most of my favourite movies or movies that take my interest have titles that start with a letter in the beginning of the alphabet A- Amelie, Adaptation, American Beauty B- Being John Malcovich, Beautiful Mind, Bowling for Columbine, Big Fish (it's on my to-watch list) C- Chocolat D- Donnie Darko, Dead Poets Socitey E- Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (on the to-watch list!) F- Frida anyway, I saw Cube- really interesting movie to see if you're interested in human interaction and Requiem for a Dream, damn that film was well done. I loved those little flashes each time they went to take something, with the pupil dilating and the tablets falling into their hand... etc... etc

There’s a sequel to Cube? Cool. I think. Hopefully it doesn’t suffer from sequelitus. i saw tait toi (sp? marky help my out here mr french speaking man) tais toi ? means 'silence you' or 'keep you quiet'. Is it only on in the city? Just checking Greater Union's website now and it's not playing at Liverpool, yet intellectual films such as Scooby Doo 2 : Monsters Unleashed, Agent Cody Banks 2 : Destination London, and Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen are. I can hardly contain my elation. Stupidgreaterunionandtheirpatronisingattitudetowardstheircustomers.

ooo i like Cube did you know there's a sequel? i read the blurb at the video store and it sounded exactly like the first..hmm yes, I heard about that as well. It appears to be the same, although this time the cubes do not obey the rules of physics. It's more than likely a cheap, shoddy effort attempting to cash in on the goodwill generated around the original, and it was released direct to video.

no, not as good. The very funny Joan Cusack does not appear.
