I heard from a friend that has visited them in the studio and they are recording this album without the use of protools, and they are also using the odd one or two students from the conservatorium of music playing all sorts of different instruments on the new songs.
I think a choir has even been used on one of the new songs.
I know Jamie has been quite productive, he also has another solo album written (yet to be recorded) as a follow up to his first solo album.
BBK has also re released one of their early albums "fear of girls" and they have just posted a new song on their website.

Further to these tour dates BBK will be supported by Matt Handley (ex Pollyanna) & his band.
The new BBK single will be out August 1st

sounds like Jamie is putting all his new songs into the new BBK album.
doesn't look like he'll be recording another solo album, but there's a slight possibility of the next album being a double.
new stuff is continuing to sound awesome.

but in my mind, 'Patient' is undoubtedly the best.
it's my favourite anyway.

i found and bought 'revenge is slow' in the city yesterday. my first impression is good, but perhaps a bit too soft generally. ohwell, it was the only album there so i guess its better than nothing. its nice music.
