I reckon Come Across is their best, and chock full of integrity.
Anyone going to this show coming up in February in Newtown? I havn't recieved any email from BBK about the show, just noticed it on their myspace.

woo, more shows already  i dunno about the newtown show since i'm preoccupied on thursdays but ill def. get to the show in bulli, and mayyyybe the cronulla one as well if you click on the info thing on myspace it says: Double bill with 'King Curly'. This is a special run we're doing with these guys playing at some of the more sophisticated venues around the place. Book a table. Sophie joins us on piano and we'll delve into some of our less feedback friendly moments. Then again... |

whee, just got home was looking like a pretty standard setlist, then threw in elmers gone because they needed practice for the live album they are gonna record in april , and finished up with generic teen, tap dancing and ice on the road, fucking awesome |

as a guess i'd say the annandale shows (i do like that plural) will be the live record, either way im going to both.
hopefully it wont share the same fate as when front end loader did a record for a live album over 2 nights there about 3 years ago, i'm still waiting for that to be released

A live album would be AWESOME. man. A chance to legitimately get some of their old out-of-print stuff will be nice.

Fucking bad news everyone.
The Annandale shows have been cancelled.
They just rang me and asked if i wanted a refund, or if i wanted to see the Camels tonight instead. I got the refund.
Sadly it seems that Jamie is in hospital undergoing surgery, and there has been some sort of complication.
They didn't say exactly what, but hopefully it's not too serious.
My friends, I am sad, and Jesus Christ I hope my favourite music-making-man is going to be alright.
